My pottery is intended for daily use in the home and is organic
in style.  My goal is to bring the softness and gesture
of the wet clay into each final piece.

My pottery is finished in two ways.  At my home studio, I fire a
large downdraft gas kiln with subtle earth-toned glazes.  I also
fire my pots in an anagama, a traditional Japanese style kiln
fueled by wood, as pictured in the bowl above.  This process
takes me to Maine twice a year where I help make up a team
of four potters firing over 800 pots at a time.

Enjoy!
